Approval conditions

Within 3 months of approval being granted, the approved provider is required to conduct a rehearsal of the emergency and evacuation procedures in accordance with regulation 97(3)(a) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011. The regulatory authority requires that the service provide in writing a full report of the emergency and evacuation practice including the names and location of all staff, educators, children (including dates of birth) and other adults that were at the service at the time the alarm sounded and a full evaluation of the practice. The approved provider must ensure that at all times the service is educating and caring for children, there is a minimum of 1 additional staff member present to assist infants and toddlers in the event of an emergency The approved provider must not educate or care for more than 8 non-ambulant infants. The approved provider must ensure that no outdoor play equipment is placed within 1.9m of the perimeter fencing on level one
