Approval conditions

From 09/01/2026, the Approved Provider must ensure that whenever children aged 36 months and above are present at the service, the number of educators educating and caring for those children is at least one more than the minimum number of educators required under Regulation 123(1) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012 for that age group. From 09/01/2026, the Approved Provider must ensure that the additional educator(s) work(s) directly only with the children aged 36 months and above, including during family grouping arrangements. From 10 November 2025, the approved provider must ensure that the nominated supervisor or responsible person conducts an audit every 2 weeks to ensure that all staff employed by the service are following all of the service’s supervision and headcount procedures. A written record of each audit must be made immediately after it is conducted, including details such as the time and date of the audit, who conducted it, and the accompanying audit results. The approved provider must keep the written audit reports and head count records available for inspection at the approved premises by an authorised officer for twelve months after the making of each record
