Approval conditions

The approved provider is to ensure that at all times the service is in operation, an additional educator above that required to meet educator-to-child ratios under National Regulations, is rostered to support outcomes for children in accessing indoor/outdoor play and bathroom facilities. 23/2/2018 condition amended by MW as follows. "An extra educator above educator-to-child ratios under National Regulations will need to be present until number of children attending exceeds 15 to support improved outcomes for children and ensure their safety" - The service must ensure that, at no time during the provision of education and care, there is more than one fewer qualified educator than the number required. - The approved provider must continue recruitment efforts to engage a suitably qualified educator and provide evidence of these efforts to the Education Standards Board every three months from the effective date of the waiver. Evidence must include, but is not limited to: outcomes of advertising and recruitment activities strategies implemented to attract, upskill, and retain staff -The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required.
