Approval conditions

Each child enrolled at the service is provided with access to direct sunlight each day of attendance, proportionate to their individual needs. Documentation is developed by the approved provider, implemented by the service, reviewed at least annually, and submitted to the Regulatory Authority upon request that outlines: a. how children’s individual requirements for access to direct sunlight has been assessed; and b. the strategies implemented by the service to meet individual children’s requirements for direct sunlight; and c. the systems in place at an approved provider level to monitor compliance with the waiver conditions. The approved provider and service leadership team participate in the Quality Engagement Program, (QEP) and fulfil their responsibilities as outlined in the QEP Agreement.
