Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure that, at any time children are being transported as part of the education and care service, at least one educator over the age of 18 travels in the vehicle in addition to the person driving. The approved provider must ensure that at least 50% of the educators needed to meet the requirements of Regulation 126(1)(a) hold at least a completed approved diploma level education and care qualification. The approved provider must ensure that at least 50% of the educators needed to meet the requirements of Regulation 126(1)(b) hold at least a completed approved certificate III level education and care qualification. The approved provider is to ensure that at all times enrolled children require access to and from the toilet facilities that are not adjacent to the playroom, they are accompanied and supervised by a contact staff member. The approved provider must ensure that when children are accessing the dining room as indicated on the attached map, at least one educator stays with and supervises the children to, in and from the dining room. The approved provider must ensure that the plan identifying the ‘dining room’ is displayed adjacent to the prescribed information about service approval conditions per section 172 of the National Law.
