Approval conditions

For each day the Service provides education and care to children, the Provider must engage one additional educator in each learning space for each age group, above the minimum number required under Regulation 123. This includes ensuring coverage for all breaks and any other periods when an educator is not directly working with children, as defined by Regulation 13 The Provider must nominate a Person with Management or Control (PMC) and notify the Authority of the appointment and any future changes. The PMC will be responsible for regular monitoring, mentoring and assessing educator and Nominated Supervisor practice on a regular basis. Records must be maintained to demonstrate how and when these assessments are conducted and how they inform individual and group staff training and/or performance management. These records must be made available to the Authority upon request for inspection.
