Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. The approved provider must ensure that the mirrors and CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children, as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. At all times education and care is being provided in “Play Room 7” (children aged 3 to 5 years), an educator to child ratio of 1:7 applies. At all times children from “Play Room 7” (children aged 3 to 5 years) access outdoor play spaces within the education and care service, one additional educator above the required ratio of 1:7 must be present in order to assist children with toileting and other requirements.
