Approval conditions

No more than one nominated educator can be counted in the diploma level qualified educator to child ratios when the children attend specialist classes of between 30 minutes and one hour duration. The nominated educator must be a Registered Teacher. An educator from the early learning centre must accompany the children to and from the specialist classes and remain with the children during the classes. The early childhood teacher will remain on the school premises and be directly and immediately available to care for children as the need arises
