Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure that each child up to 12 months of age being educated and cared for by the service has a cot that meets their sleep and rest needs, with an additional cot provided for each child over 12 months of age who developmentally requires one. No more than seven (7) children requiring a cot are permitted to be provided with care in Activity Room 2 (Nursery 2). The cots in Sleep Room 3 must remain positioned in accordance with the approved Sleep Room 3 cot map, which is to be displayed in Sleep Room 3 at all times. The approved provider must ensure that the mirrors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children.
