Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure the fall height from playground equipment is no more than 1.5m high in accordance with the Australian Standard for Playground Equipment (AS4685.1-2004) for supervised early childhood settings. The approved provider must ensure that no outdoor play equipment is placed closer than 1.9m to the perimeter fencing. The approved provider must ensure the outdoor play equipment is located in a position that complies with the (AS4685.1-2004) noting particularly the correct clear fall zones for the height of each piece of equipment.
