Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure that no outdoor play equipment on level 1 is placed within 1.9m of the perimeter fencing. The approved provider is required to make arrangements, within 3 months of approval being granted, with the relevant regional office to arrange attendance when the service will conduct a rehearsal of the emergency and evacuation procedures in accordance with regulation 97(3)(a) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011. The approved provider must ensure that children have regular access to genuine outdoor space located on the ground level of the education and care service. The regulation 108 waiver applies to the simulated outdoor space located on level 1. The approved provider must undertake reasonable steps to ensure that children aged over 48 months have access to natural elements and environment through routine outings. The approved provider must ensure that they incorporate and maintain natural elements and features within the outdoor spaces on the ground floor and level 1.
