Approval conditions

The approved provider must keep for each registered home educated child that is provided education and care at the service, a copy of their Queensland Home Educating Registration provided to them in accordance with Chapter 9, Part 5 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2009. This record must be kept in accordance with regulation 183 (2)(d) Education and Care Services National Regulations. The approved provider must provide education and care to any registered home educated child as though they are a child over preschool age. This service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 100 children over preschool age up to and including 13 years old for before school, after school, on Saturdays and during school holidays. This service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 30 home educated children, over preschool age up to and including 13 years old, registered in accordance with Chapter 9, Part 5 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2009 (registered home educated child) from 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday, on Saturdays and during school holidays. This condition is in force for a period of 12 months, at which time it may be reviewed or amended. At least one (1) staff member must be in attendance at the service premise prior to the arrival of children being transported to the education and care service premise as part of regular transportation of children by or arranged by the service. The approved provider must ensure that the premises is fully enclosed by fencing and gates, prior to providing education and care to children.
