Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from 36 months up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. The approved provider must ensure a minimum of 2 educators are at the education and care service premises any time children are utilising the outdoor play space. One of the educators must be present to provide supervision and any required assistance to children using the children’s toilet and washing facilities and indoor play space. The approved provider must ensure that the CCTV camera located in the indoor space and the monitor located in the adjoining children’s toilet area remain installed at the service and are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
