Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including school children. The Approved Provider must ensure that closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras are installed in key indoor and outdoor environments of the service where children are education and care for, and that the system is maintained in working order. CCTV must not be installed in areas where children's privacy and dignity would reasonably be expected. CCTV is to support the retrospective review of practice, incident response, and continuous improvement of the service. The Approved Provider must implement policies and procedures governing the use, security, access and regular monitoring of closed-circuit television (CCTV).
