Approval conditions

The approved provider must provide additional shade in the outdoor play areas of infant and toddler, to the satisfaction of the Regulatory Authority, by 10 January 2027. This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. The approved provider must ensure that the mirrors and CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children, as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The approved provider must ensure that at least four educators are present in each group operating, including family groups, at all times to provide education and care. This is to ensure that there is a minimum of two educators in each location, including both indoor and outdoor areas. This requirement is to ensure safe and effective supervision across all areas of the service due to the premises design. The approved provider must ensure that educators use walkie-talkies or an equivalent communication system to maintain constant communication between indoor and outdoor spaces whenever these areas are in operation. This is to support effective supervision, timely response to incidents, and the safety of all children. The approved provider must operate in accordance with an approved Outdoor Safe Play Risk Assessment to ensure children remain safe during outdoor play until such a time as adequate shade is installed.
