Approval conditions

Within 3 days of the commencement of operation of the service, the approved provider must submit to the Regulatory Authority a document indicating that all team members to be employed at the service have completed the proposed training schedule outlined in the induction checklist prior to the service commencing operation. Within 6 weeks of the commencement of operations, the approved provider is to submit to the Regulatory Authority evidence of Red Nose training undertaken by all staff. Within 8 weeks of the commencement of operations, the approved provider is to submit to the Regulatory Authority evidence of operation at reduced capacity with increased ratio: Weeks 1 – 4 no more than 50% of total approved places; and Weeks 4 – 8 no more than 75% of total approved places.. Within 3 months of the commencement of operations, the approved provider is to submit to the Regulatory Authority evidence of the quarterly service compliance audit and the quarterly service environment audit. This must address the following: i. Adequate supervision of children, consistent with section 165 of the National Law. ii. Taking reasonable precautions to protect children from harm or hazards, consistent with section 167 of the National Law. iii. Ensuring that the education and care service premises and all equipment and furniture used in providing the education and care service are safe, clean and in good repair, consistent with Regulation 103.
