Approval conditions

Service approval – exclusion of general public, school attendees and other user groups, in both indoor and outdoor areas. The approved provider is to ensure that all members of the public and school attendees are excluded from the approved areas during service operations, other than: • The parents of enrolled children • Persons authorised by parents of enrolled children to collect enrolled children, and • Persons authorised by the approved provider to carry out necessary maintenance work within the approved service by subject to Section 170 of the Law. The approved provider must ensure the supervision and support needs are met for all children while accessing bathroom facilities when attending the Kindy 3 plus program. Any changes to this procedure must be approved by the Regulatory Authority. The service may only operate programs within the approved areas – The service must at all times display the bathroom supervision procedure and access to outdoor areas roster alongside the service approval certificate. The approved provider must only provide an education and care service of the specified kind during the following specified times, Monday to Friday only: - Vacation Care program from 6:30 - 18:00 - Before school care program from 6:30 - 9:00 - After school program from 15:00 - 18:00 - Kindy 3 plus program from 8:00 - 16:00 (during school terms and vacation care). The approved provider must ensure that the children enrolled in the Kindy 3 plus program do not attend the Outside School Hours Care/Vacation Care programs or share the same approved spaces. The approved provider must ensure that, of the maximum number of children specified in the service approval, no more than 17 children attend the Kindy 3 plus program. The approved provider is to ensure that at all times enrolled children preschool age or under require access to and from the toilet facilities, they are accompanied and supervised by a contact staff member, including while in the bathroom.
