Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. The approved provider must not educate and care for more than 8 children aged 0-24 months in Indoor Space 01. The approved provider must ensure that the minimum ratio requirement of one (1) educator for every four (4) children aged 0-24 months is provided for children aged 0-24 months. These educators must be located with the children aged 0-24 months. The approved provider must ensure that there is one (1) additional educator above minimum ratio requirements at all times education and care is being provided to 2 or more children aged 0-24 months. This educator must be located with the children aged 0-24 months. The approved provider must ensure that the mirrors and CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children, as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. An adequate amount of healthy live plants in a variety of species and sizes is maintained at all times, in all children’s outdoor play areas across at the service premises, ensuring children are afforded opportunities to explore and experience the features of a natural environment as required under Regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
