Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. To comply with regulation 84A of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure – - each child up to 12 months of age has a cot, and - each child over 12 months of age who developmentally needs a cot has one to meet their needs for sleep and rest. To comply with regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure that no more than 8 children who require a cot are provided with care in Room 1. To comply with regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure that 8 cots are positioned according to the approved diagram in Room 1, labelled Cot room plan, on display adjacent to the sleep room door. The approved provider must ensure Room 3 provides care only to children aged over 24 months. The approved provider must ensure that across Room 3 and Bath 2, a minimum of 2 educators are present at any time Bath 2 is being used by children. The approved provider must ensure that Room 2 provides care for no more than 15 children at any time The approved provider must ensure that Outdoor Space 1 contains no more than 30 children at any time. The approved provider must ensure that the mirrors and CCTV cameras and monitors installed at the service, and reflected on marked up plans, are constantly maintained and operational. This is to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children, as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Car Services National Regulations. This service is approved to provide education and care for a maximum of 75 children while building works are being undertaken in Rooms 4 and 5 and Bath 3. Children must not access these spaces until the approved provider has provided evidence to the Regulatory Authority confirming that all building works have been completed.
