Approval conditions

The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required. An unqualified educator may only conduct a single educator session where no more than seven children are in attendance. Where a session is conducted by a single educator and seven or more children are in attendance, the educator must hold, at a minimum, a qualification listed under regulation 137(2) as an approved qualification for second and subsequent qualified educators working with children over preschool age in South Australia. The approved provider must continue active recruitment efforts to appoint suitably qualified educators and provide the Education Standards Board with evidence of its recruitment activities and an updated recruitment strategy every three months for the duration of the waiver.
