Approval conditions

As of 2 june 2026, the approved provider must not provide education and care to children under 20 months of age. As of 2 June 2026, the approved provider must ensure that for children of 20 months and over but less than 24 months of age, regardless of children’s development for the purposes of regulation 123(7), there is a ratio of a minimum of one educator working directly with every four children of that age. The approved provider is to ensure that at all times enrolled children preschool age or under require access to and from the toilet facilities, they are accompanied and supervised by a contact staff member, including while in the bathroom.
