The mirrors installed in the kindergarten room and outside the bathroom corridor in the Outside School Hours Care room, and in the Community room are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 114 children from 36 months up to and including school children, during school holidays only. The service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 92 children from over preschool age up to and including school children, before school and after school only. The Outside School Hours Care room and the Community room will remain locked and inaccessible to children between 8:30am and 2:45pm on school days. The Approved Provider must ensure there are two staff members on duty during all times the Outside School Hours Care is operating, with one staff member remaining inside the Outside School Hours Care room whilst the room is in use. One additional staff member must also be on duty and remain in the Community room, whilst the room is in use. The service is approved to provide education and care to a maximum of 22 children from 36 months up to and including over preschool age, during school hours The Approved Provider must ensure the motion sensor and audible alert installed at the entrance to the toilet area within the Outside School Hours Care room remain operational at all times the room is in use. The Approved Provider must ensure the bathroom doors in the Outside School Hours Care room are secured in the open position at all times the room is in use.
