The approved provider must ensure that an additional staff member not counted in the educator to child ratios prescribed in regulation 123(1) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 is positioned at the door to 'Corridor 04' during the delivery and collection process for children preschool age and under. The approved provider must ensure that school age children do not access the ‘ELC Courtyard’, as denoted on the 'Building A – Ground Floor Plan'. The approved provider is required to ensure that that all doors leading to the 'ELC Courtyard' are unlocked prior to children’s arrival at the education and care service and remain unlocked whenever children are being educated and cared for in the early learning centre.
