Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure that only children who are currently enrolled in, and attend or will attend, a school in the current year attend the outside school hours care program. The approved provider must ensure that all children attending the outside school hours care program must be at least 4 years of age by 30 June in the year they attend the program. The approved provider is to ensure that at all times enrolled children require access to and from the toilet facilities, they are accompanied and supervised by a contact staff member, including while in the bathroom. The approved provider must ensure that at all times when moving between approved spaces the enrolled children are accompanied by a contact staff member. The approved provider must ensure there is one additional educator working directly with children, above the minimum number of educators required under Regulation 369 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012. This educator must be based in the undercover basketball area while children are utilising the space and is responsible for supervising the entry to the pool area. The approved provider must ensure that at all times, while an education and care service is being provided, no enrolled child accesses the pool at any time.
