Approval conditions

Regulation 126 - The service must operate with one educator above the required educator-to-child ratio at all times while the education and care service is operating. The approved provider is required to submit weekly attendance records for children, together with records of educators working directly with children, to the Commission for a period of three (3) months. Regulation 272 – The service is to be capped at a maximum of 25 children in attendance until an Early Childhood Teacher is employed and has remained employed at the service for a continuous period of six (6) months. Mandatory Training – Approved Provider and Nominated Supervisor(s) The approved provider and nominated supervisor(s) are required to complete the Office of the Children’s Guardian – Child Safe eLearning: Keeping Children Safe in Organisations course. A record of training must be submitted to the Commission within one (1) month of recommencing operations and/or within one (1) month of any new nominated supervisor commencing. Mandatory Training – Educators All educators are required to complete the Office of the Children’s Guardian – Child Safe Centre-Based Services eLearning course. A record of training must be submitted to the Commission within one (1) month of recommencing operations and/or within one (1) month of any new staff member commencing.
