Approval conditions

An educational leader or diploma qualified educator must be in attendance on all days the early childhood teacher is not on site for the duration of the waiver. The approved provider must continue active recruitment efforts for a suitably qualified person and provide evidence of an updated recruitment strategy to the Education Standards Board by 30 June 2026, demonstrating actions to reduce reliance on temporary waivers. The approved provider must notify the Regulatory Authority within 14 days if the waiver is no longer required.
