Approval conditions

The approved provider must: * Engage or appoint a suitably qualified and experienced staff member in the role of nominated supervisor who is employed to work onsite at the service by no later than two months from the date the conditions are imposed. * A suitably qualified and experienced person is someone that as a minimum has at least a Diploma level education and care qualification and has at least 3 years’ experience in an education and care service. * Inform the Regulatory Authority in writing of the appointment of the nominated supervisor once the appointment is made. * Where a nominated supervisor has been appointed to work on site prior to these conditions being imposed, the Approved Provider must submit details of the date of appointment and the qualification and experience of the nominated supervisor to the Regulatory Authority after the conditions are imposed. The approved provider must: * provide training to the nominated supervisors, educational leaders, and all educators employed, appointed or engaged to work in the service to ensure that they build their skills in relation to Child Safe Standards, a child safe environment, and ensuring children are adequately supervised by 14 May 2024; and * ensure that evidence of completion of this training is submitted to the Regulatory Authority within 7 days of the completion of the training. The approved provider must: * review and revise the service’s policy and procedures in relation to ‘supervision’ and Child Safe Standards, by 14 March 2024; and * submit evidence of this review to the Regulatory Authority within 7 days of completion.
