The approved provider must ensure that for each child being educated and cared for by the service that is preschool age or under, the service premises has at least 3.25 square metres of unencumbered indoor space. The approved provider must ensure that education and care is provided for a maximum of 20 children of preschool age or under at any one time. The approved provider must ensure that for each child being educated and cared for by the service that is over preschool age, the service premises has at least 2 square metres of unencumbered indoor space. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the approved provider must ensure that when the waiver for regulation 107 is in force, the service complies with the COVID-19 related advice from relevant health authorities, and adheres to relevant health measures put in place by the Australian Government, including social distancing recommendations.
