Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children aged from birth up to and including preschool children. This service is approved under regulation 107(4) of the Education and Care Services Regulations to use four separate verandahs as indoor space for the purposes of regulation 107(2). These areas are excluded from the calculation of outdoor space. The weather-proof blinds are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the protection of children from inclement weather at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service. The mirrors and CCTV equipment installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The mirrors and CCTV equipment are required to assist ensuring adequate supervision within the children’s indoor play spaces and between the nappy change and bottle preparation areas and the children’s indoor spaces and the verandahs used as children’s indoor spaces.
