Approval conditions

The Approved Provider must engage a full time equivalent Nominated Supervisor based at the service, who holds an approved ACECQA diploma level or above qualification and has a minimum of three years’ experience in leadership roles within the early childhood sector, to support quality and compliance across the service. The Approved Provider must ensure that for a minimum of six hours per day, that the Nominated Supervisor or a Responsible Person must be in attendance at the service and not counted towards the educator to child ratios prescribed in regulation 123 (1) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011. The Approved Provider is required to ensure objects are not placed or able to be placed in a manner that may allow a child to climb over barriers or fences; and, all play equipment in the outdoor play spaces are maintained and placed in a way that meets the requirements of the Australian Playground Standards (Standard AS 4685) with particular consideration given to falling space, impact areas and free space.
