Approval conditions

A maximum of 31 children aged 36 months to preschool age may be educated and cared for in the kindergarten room. The outside school hours care room must not be routinely used in the education and care of children aged 36 months or preschool age. The Approved Provider must ensure an additional educator above the ratio is present when children aged 36 months to preschool age are being educated and cared for in the outside school hours care room. The Approved Provider must ensure objects are not placed in a manner that may allow a child to climb over the barriers or fencing surrounding the slide in the outside school hours care room. The Approved Provider must ensure that all staff have read and are familiar with the supervision plan and risk assessment for the outside school hours care room. The Approved Provider must ensure that the school age children attending the Outside School Hours Care program have regular access to outdoor space near the approved premises.
