Approval conditions

1. The service must engage an external consultant for a period of at least 6 months from the amendment of service approval to guide service operations specifically relating to relationships with children and children’s social and emotional wellbeing. a. The consultant must work with all rooms across the service, and the leadership team to ensure change is established service wide. b. The approved provider must ensure the consultant and all educators engage in specific training that aligns to areas of concern in the Assessment and Rating report. c. Evidence of this consultancy must be provided every 30 days, by the approved provider to the Regulatory Authority via the NQAITS. For the service waiver for Regulation 134 (1) (b) to apply the following conditions must be met: - The service must continue to actively recruit for a second Early Childhood Teacher, and the nominated supervisor must continue to oversee the implementation of the educational program, provide pedagogical leadership and support Educators. - Evidence of recruitment efforts for the position of a second Early Childhood Teacher must be submitted every three months if no suitable candidate has been identified.
