Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including school children The approved provider must not educate and care for more than 4 infants under 6 months of age at any one time. At least 1 additional staff member, in addition to the number required to meet the educator to child ratios, must be available at all times education and care is provided to infants to assist children in evacuating the service during rehearsals and in the event of an emergency. The approved provider must ensure that a cot is available to each child whose developmental needs require the use of a cot. It is a condition of the service waiver that the approved provider must use indoor spaces to offer children a program that meets their needs and interests, including opportunities for outdoor type activities.
