Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth up to and including over preschool age, not including school children. To comply with regulation 84A of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure – • each child up to 12 months of age has a cot, and • each child over 12 months of age who developmentally needs a cot has one to meet their needs for sleep and rest (“sleep and rest condition”). To comply with regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure that in the toddlers’ room there are no more than six (6) children who are in the two groups in the sleep and rest condition. To comply with regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure that cots are positioned according to the diagrams in the nursery and toddlers’ activity rooms, labelled cot room layout, adjacent to the sleep room doors. To comply with regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the approved provider must ensure that the tinted glass in the seven (7) sliding doors located between indoor and outdoor play spaces is replaced with glass that allows visibility from the outdoor play spaces into the indoor play spaces at the education and care premises, within three (3) calendar months of the granting of the service approval. Until this is completed, the approved provider must ensure that the management strategies provided to the Regulatory Authority on 9 July 2026 are adhered to, to ensure that adequate supervision of children is provided at all times and child safe practices are supported.
