Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure that the number of family day care educators employed, engaged or registered with the service does not exceed 75 g. From 17 June 2026, the approved provider is required to ensure that no new enrolments are accepted at this family day care residence. h. From 17 June 2026, the approved provider must ensure that only family day care educators who were registered with the family day care service as at that date provide education and care at this family day care residence. 1. In relation to the family day care residence operations at 38 Cotton Street Latrobe Tasmania: a. A temporary waiver of regulation 124(3) applies to the family day care residence at 38 Cotton Street Latrobe. b. The approved provider must develop and implement a comprehensive action plan outlining all corrective actions and associated timeframes required to bring the family day care operations at this residence into compliance with the current models of care provided for in the National Quality Framework. The action plan must be provided to the Regulatory Authority by 20 May 2026. The approved provider must provide evidence of progress and/or completion of the action plan to the Regulatory Authority upon request. e. The approved provider must keep families informed and updated on the measures being undertaken to bring this family day care residence into a compliant model of care that meets current requirements of the National Quality Framework. The approved provider is required to provide the Regulatory Authority evidence of ongoing compliance, upon request.
