Approval conditions

The approved provider must ensure the fall height from playground equipment is no more than 1.5m high in accordance with the Australian Standard for Playground Equipment (AS4685.1-2004) for supervised early childhood settings. The approved provider must ensure that no outdoor play equipment is placed closer than 1.9m to the perimeter fencing. The approved provider must ensure the outdoor play equipment is located in a position that complies with the (AS4685.1-2004) noting particularly the correct clear fall zones for the height of each piece of equipment. The approved provider must take reasonable steps to ensure that the nominated supervisors and staff members follow the Roof Top Garden Policy HS026. The approved provider must notify and consult with the relevant Regional Office of the Department at least 14 days before any change to the Roof Top Garden Policy HS026 is made.
