Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth to over preschool age, not including school children. The service has been granted a service waiver in relation to Regulation 108(2) of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and element 3.2.1 of the National Quality Standard. The service waiver allows the service to utilise 759.96 square metres of enclosed outdoor play space across two enclose areas as the overall unencumbered outdoor play space required for service. It is a condition of this service approval that an adequate amount of healthy live plants in a variety of species and sizes is maintained at all times, in the enclosed outdoor areas of the premise, ensuring children are afforded opportunities to explore and experience the features of a natural environment as required under Regulation 113 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. The Approved Provider must engage an appropriate expert in emergency procedures, a fire safety advisor or fire safety engineer to observe and report on one full rehearsal annually by the end of February. A copy of the evacuation outcome reports, including any recommendations for action is to be supplied to the Regional Office of the Regulatory Authority in which the service is located within 7 days upon receipt of the report by the Approved Provider from the licensed organisation.
