Approval conditions

This service is approved to provide education and care to children from birth to over preschool age, including school children. The mirrors and CCTV installed at the service are constantly maintained and operational to ensure the facilitation of adequate supervision of children at all times they are being educated and cared for at the service, having regard to the need to maintain the rights and dignity of the children as required under regulation 115 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations. That the service ensures that the following children are educated and cared for on the ground floor of the building: i. All children aged 0-2 years; and ii. Any other ambulant child who is assessed by the Approved Provider as being incapable of negotiating the stairs safely in the case of an emergency if no alternative measures can be put into place to ensure their safe evacuation. The Approved Provider must only engage or register educators with the family day care service who provide education and care in the <<XX insert council area or areas e.g. Brisbane City Council, Toowoomba Regional Council and Ipswich City Council>> local government areas. A copy of each annual evacuation outcome report, including any recommendations for actioning, is to be supplied to the Regional Office of the Regulatory Authority in which the service is located within 7 days upon receipt of the report by the Approved Provider.
