Approval conditions

The qualified educator on lunch break must be replaced by an educator to maintain required educator to child ratios. The qualified educator on lunch break must remain on the premises of the service and be directly and immediately available to care for children as the need arises. The qualified educator waiver only applies during the lunch break period. An educator must accompany, supervise and assist children aged less than 36 months using the toilets and any child aged 36 months of age or over as required. Educators must actively supervise children using the toilets via the installed video surveillance equipment.
