The service must actively advertise to fill the fully qualified ECT position for the duration of the wavier for Regulation 132 and provide evidence to the Regulatory Authority of this on request. For this waiver to apply, the approved provider must ensure that each room has at least one educator that holds, or is actively working towards, at least an approved diploma level education and care qualification or higher at all times that children are educated and cared for by the service.
