Approval conditions

From 7 June 2024, the Approved Provider) must ensure that an individual person employed at the Service conducts an audit on behalf of the Approved Provider every 8 weeks and a minimum of 6 times per annum to ensure that all staff employed by the Service are following the Service’s Supervision Policy. The Approved Provider must ensure that the individual’s audit includes observations of other employees and whether they are following or not following the procedures set out in the Supervision Policy, including and in particular the procedures for regular counting of children. The Approved Provider must ensure that the individual makes and signs a written record of each audit as soon as possible after the audit and within 24 hours of the audit at the latest, and that the record, includes the identity of the individual, the time and date of the audit, and details of the observations the individual has made of other employee’s compliance with the Supervision Policy.
