Approval conditions

The service must not operate as a single-educator site at any time while only unqualified educators are rostered and children are in attendance. Single-operator arrangements are only permitted where the educator holds a qualification that is published under regulation 137(2) in the list of approved qualifications for second and subsequent qualified educators working with children over preschool age for South Australia. The approved provider must ensure that educational programming is developed and overseen by the educational leader. The approved provider must continue active recruitment efforts to secure a suitably qualified educator throughout the waiver period.
